Places for Forgotten Objects

Completing extensive research into the meaning of 'The Hearth' and the many roles it plays within the home, and within urban settings, we were briefed by our colleagues on topics to do with the home.
The brief I chose was to create a object that contained all the forgotten bits and pieces we keep around. The idea was to replace the age old bowl or jar of junk and create an object that created a subtle awareness to things we hold on to, but tend to forget.

Inspired by the Pitcher Plant, I wanted to create an action with the object that elaborated the swallowing of the Pitcher Plant.
